A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the National Archives of Korea, and the National Center for the Rights of the Child regarding the safe preservation and management of adoption records was signed on October 10, 2025, at the Seongnam Branch of the National Archives of Korea.
Adoption records transferred to the Agency for the Protection of Children’s Rights will be preserved safely and systematically through a professional management system at the national level.
We will work together to safely preserve adoption records in specialized preservation facilities so that adoptees can trace their roots at any time!

보건복지부와 국가기록원, 아동권리보장원의 입양기록물의 안전한 보존관리를 위한 업무협약이 2025년 10월 10일 국가기록원 성남분원에서 체결되었습니다.
아동권리보장원으로 이관된 입양기록물을 국가 차원의 전문적인 관리체계를 통해 안전하고 체계적으로 보존될 예정입니다.
